I wasn't going to watch Private Practice tonight as I am SO tired! However, Grey's led right into it and I was sucked in. So. It's 11:10 and here's the photo of the day. Finally!
My oldest son loves Cub Scouts. He had wanted to be a "sixer", but was passed over this round. Sixers are the leaders of the smaller groups within the troop. He was trained, but not given a position. Out of the blue tonight, Akela (the Cub leader), called him forward in front of the whole troop and promoted him. It seems that he showed great leadership last weekend at Winter Cubbing and Akela felt he should help pick up the slack left behind by a child who is frequently absent. So Max is now the leader of the Black Six. He got new striped epaulettes and everything. What a great kid! (It also was revealed that one of the things he did over the weekend was to organize kids to, get this, wash dishes. He's been holding out on me, no more getting out of dish duty at home!)

That's awesome! My eldest son has just finished Cub Scouts and moved up to Scouts. He achieved his 'Grey Wolf' not sure if it is called there elsewhere but it is the highest achievement a Cub Scout can get!
